Does your service pageanswer the search?

Five checks to make before adding more words to a service page.

AFH / READ

Start with the question someone is trying to answer. A page can mention a service repeatedly and still leave the visitor unsure whether it is suitable.

  1. Name the actual service

Use the wording your customer would recognise. A headline about “transformation” cannot do the whole job.

  2. Explain when it is useful

Describe the situation that would bring someone to the page. For example: regular social publishing and a one-off launch campaign are different needs.

  3. Show the output

Name what someone might receive and show an accurate example where possible. Label demonstrations as demonstrations.

  4. Set the boundaries

Make important distinctions visible: advice versus implementation, one page versus a whole website, production versus advertising spend.

  5. Offer a relevant next step

A visitor should be able to ask about this service without explaining their choice again. Keep contact details and links usable on a phone.

These checks improve the usefulness of the page. They do not guarantee a ranking or inclusion in an AI-generated answer.
